Flinders Chase Tour

The Flinders Chase Tour features iconic Kangaroo Island attractions; Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and Weirs Cove, complete with a gourmet picnic lunch in Flinders Chase National Park.
Your Kangaroo Island Touring Company Guide will collect you from your accommodation before heading to the South Western end of the Island where you will explore iconic Kangaroo Island attractions, spending the day in Flinders Chase National Park, with over 250 square kilometres to explore.  The iconic Remarkable Rocks, shaped over the past 550 million years, granite rock formations shaped by the wind, rain and surf, Admirals Arch with its stunning coastal scenery and home to an active population of Long Nosed Fur Seals, nearly hunted to extinction in the late

1800’s.  Historic Weirs Cove, with its stunning views over the Great Southern Ocean.

Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch served by your guide, accompanied by South Australian beer or wine, at our private lunch site in a natural bush setting at Rocky River.

For those wanting to explore the native bush, enjoy a gentle hike at the Platypus Waterholes in the hope of seeing the ever elusive platypus, or for those wanting more of a challenge, Snake Lagoon Hike through to the mouth of the Rocky River is always beautiful, with abundant native bush, and the opportunity to see our native birdlife, wildlife and native flora. Both hikes provide a wonderful contrast to the coastal scenery seen earlier in the day, and a wonderful nature immersive experience.
